S-V8000 Vacuum Reflow Oven by Southern Machinery: Void Control and Process Traceability
No reflow profile can remove gas trapped inside molten solder. The S-V8000 adds a 10–100 Pa vacuum stage to an eight-zone inline reflow oven, with a published solder void rate as low as 3% or less.
Void control is a process, not a single setting
An improved conventional SMT process can reach under 5% voids; the vacuum stage goes further, pulling gas out while the alloy is still liquid. It can be switched off for standard air or nitrogen reflow.
The vacuum recipe is operator-set
Vacuum time, vacuum pressure, pumping speed (adjustable to 40 m³/h), vacuum hold time and deflation time are all free-set.
