What Is the S-680A?
The S-680A is an automatic cutting machine for SMT reel tape recycling. Chip mounters do not recycle tape, so waste is currently cut manually with scissors. The S-680A replaces this manual step, cutting carrier tape and cover film in one pass and dropping debris into an anti-static bin.
How It Works
Waste SMT carrier tape is fed through hardened high-speed steel blades using a scissor-cutting principle. Cut fragments collect in an extractable anti-static bin — no loose tape on the factory floor.
